The authorities involved in updating Assam's National Citizens Register will release an additional NRC draft on Wednesday 26/06/2019, which will be on public display from 10 am. The list will only contain the names of those individuals who were included in the full NRC draft published on July 30, 2018, but were subsequently found to be ineligible for inclusion, the NRC authorities said. The outcomes of the disposal of allegations and objections will not be included.
The "extra list of exclusion" will be accessible in designated NRC Seva Kendras (NSKs) and assistant commissioners, subdivisional (civil) and circle officers ' offices. By clicking on the full draft NRC chapter in www.nrcassam.nic.in, it can also be viewed online. The ineligible people will be highlighted in the online list as "excluded in additional list," while the other names will remain the same.
