CIT Kokrajhar Entrance Exam Result

CIT Entrance Exam was conducted on 19th May 2019, in different centers all over Assam. Different exams were conducted like CITEE-2019,  CITDEE-2019, CITBDAT-2019  &  CITLET-2019 for admission into different programs like  three year Diploma programme, four year Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.)  programme and four year Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) programme.










Result





The Results of Entrance Examination and the selected list of the eligible candidates for admission is expected to be declared on 12th  June,  2019  at  5:00 pm for CITEE-2019  (Diploma), CITDEE-2019  (B.Tech.),  CITLET-2019  (Degree  Lateral)  and  CITBDAT-2019  (B.Des).  But it is postponed upto further Notice Released by CIT Kokrajhar. On 13/06/2019 CIT releases shortlisted candidates list. The Results and selected list will be available on the Notice Board of the  Institute.  The candidates may also log on to CIT  website:  www.cit.ac.in to check their status.    








COUNSELLING  AND  ADMISSION:




The  counseling  and  admission  for  Diploma  courses  will  be  conducted  on  26th June  2019  for CITEE-2019,  27th June  2019  for  CITDEE-2019,  28th  June  2019  for  CITBDAT  and  18th July 2019  for  CITLET-2019  qualified  candidates.  Subsequent  counseling  would  be  conducted  if required  on  the dates  as  notified  in  the website. 






RESERVATION POLICY: 

 In  filling  up  of  the  available  seats,  the  Institute  shall  follow  the  following  reservation policy. 

(i)  60%  from  BTAD  (60%  ST,  5%  SC,  15%  OBC  and  20%  General)

(ii)  20%  from  North-East  region  excluding  BTAD.

(iii) 17%  from  All  India  excluding  North-East  Region. 

(iv) 03%  for  physically  handicapped  candidates.

The  selection  through  serial  no.  (ii),  (iii)  &  (iv)  will  follow  the  reservation  policy  for  SC, ST,  OBC  and  General  as  laid  down  by  the  Government  of  India.  In  case  the  seats  as mentioned in (ii), (iii) & (iv) are not filled up by respective candidates, the seats will be filled up by candidates from the BTAD region.
