Applications for a JRF (Junior Research Fellow) position are invited from eligible candidates for the DST-SERB Research Project titled ”An Investigation of plasma Sheath through PIC Simulation" (SERB/CRG/2018/002971).

Remuneration: Selected candidates will be a gross salary of Rs. 31,000/(thirty-one thousand) per month for the initial two years and thereafter Rs. 35,000/(thirty-five thousand) in the third year subject to satisfactory performance. These stipends are as per DST SERB regulations. No other allowances are admissible.
The position is initially for one year and extendable to two more years subject to satisfactory progress.
Eligibility
- The prospective applicant should have consistently good academic records and must have passed MSc in Physics and should have cleared NET / SLEI.
- The application should also be familiar with Computational Methods, GNU Linux system, Programming in Fortran 90 and/or Python.
