Eligibility Criteria
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher):
- Master Degree in concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. degree from NCTE recognized institution.
- OR 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. / 4-year integrated degree with B.Ed.
- For Computer Science: M.Sc (CS/IT), MCA, or B.Tech/M.Tech (CS/IT).
- Working knowledge of English and Hindi required.
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher):
- Graduation in concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. degree from NCTE recognized institution.
- Qualified in CTET (Paper-II).
- Subject-specific combinations required (as per post).
- For Computer Science: BCA / B.Sc (CS/IT) / BE/B.Tech.
- TGT (Subject Requirements):
- Hindi/English: Studied as main subject for at least 3 years.
- Maths: Maths + Physics + one of Chemistry/CS/Statistics.
- Science: Biology/Life Science with Botany/Zoology/Chemistry.
- Social Science: Any two of History, Geography, Economics, Political Science.
- Regional Language: Studied for at least 3 years.
- TGT (Other Posts):
- Art: Degree in Fine Arts / Drawing / Painting + B.Ed.
- Physical Education: B.P.Ed or equivalent.
- Music: Degree in Music / Performing Arts.
- Library: Bachelor in Library Science.
- Special Educator: Graduation + B.Ed (Special Education) or equivalent + CTET.
- Female Staff Nurse:
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM from recognized institute.
- Registered with State Nursing Council.
- Minimum 2.5 years experience in 50-bedded hospital.
- Counselor:
- Master’s Degree (MA/M.Sc) in Psychology.
- One-year Diploma in Guidance & Counseling.
- Minimum 1 year experience in counseling.
- Hostel Superintendent:
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience in recognized residential school.
- Preference for B.Ed / Master Degree holders.

The above remuneration is fixed monthly salary for contractual engagement under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (Shillong Region) for the academic session 2026–27. No additional allowances such as DA, HRA, or other benefits will be provided. Free accommodation and meals may be available within the campus as per institutional rules.
