🎓 Eligibility

• Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
• Age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01 January 2026.
• Age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government norms for reserved categories.
• Minimum educational qualification is Class VIII (Eight) passed.
• Candidate must possess a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) Driving License issued by a competent authority.
• Candidate must possess a valid Employment Exchange Registration Number for the State of Assam.
• If any candidate suppresses educational qualifications or furnishes false information at the time of application, the candidature shall be rejected without any notice.
• Candidates already serving in Government Departments must apply through proper channel.

💰 Salary

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only). The appointment is purely contractual in nature under District Legal Services Authority, Nagaon.

Eligible candidates must submit their application in the Standard Form of Application published in Part IX of the Assam Gazette along with self-attested copies of all required documents.

Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope either through Courier, Registered Post, Speed Post or by depositing the application in the designated DROP BOX available in the premises of the District & Sessions Judges' Court, 4th Floor, Judicial Court Building, Nagaon.

The envelope containing the application must clearly mention: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER (CONTRACTUAL)" on the top.
