🎓 Eligibility
- Candidate must be registered on NATS Portal.
- Candidate must be a Citizen of India OR eligible nationality as mentioned in the official notification.
- Candidate must possess Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government.
- Graduation must have been completed on or after 01-01-2022.
- Candidates must produce Graduation Marksheets and Degree/Provisional Certificate whenever required by the Bank.

🌐 Test of Local Language
- Candidates applying for apprenticeship seats of a particular State must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding any one of the specified local/official languages of that State.
- The list of official languages for all States and Union Territories is provided in Annexure-II of the notification.
- The Local Language Test will be conducted after qualifying the Online Examination.
- Candidates failing the Local Language Test may not be engaged as apprentices.
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet showing the specified local language as a subject will not be required to appear in the language test.
- The language test shall be conducted at a centre decided by the Bank within the State applied for.
- All expenses for appearing in the language test shall be borne by the candidates.
- The Bank will not reimburse any travelling or related expenses.

📜 Contract of Apprenticeship
Candidates selected for apprenticeship shall receive digital apprenticeship contracts through the Government apprenticeship portal.
- Digital apprenticeship contracts will be issued through NATS Portal.
- Candidates will receive contract acceptance links from BFSI SSC.
- Candidates must accept the apprenticeship contract within the stipulated time.
- No candidate shall undergo apprenticeship training without entering into a valid Contract of Apprenticeship.
- The contract must be approved by the respective authorities of the apprenticeship portal.

🏦 Training Conditions, Leave & Holidays
- Apprentices shall be entitled to holidays observed by the Bank.
- One Casual Leave per month will be admissible during apprenticeship.
- No other category of leave is applicable.
- Daily working hours shall be the same as applicable to clerical staff of the Bank.
- No apprentice shall be required or allowed to work overtime.
- Government of India guidelines shall be followed regarding leave, working conditions and holidays.
🎓 Assessment & Certification
- After completion of apprenticeship training, apprentices may be required to undergo an assessment test.
- Certification shall be awarded as per prevailing apprenticeship guidelines.
❌ Termination of Apprenticeship Contract
- The apprenticeship contract shall be terminated if the apprentice fails to report on the commencement date of training.
- The contract shall automatically terminate after completion of the apprenticeship period.
- The Bank or Apprentice may apply for termination before completion by informing the Apprenticeship Advisor with reasons.
- A copy of the termination request must be sent to the other party.
- The Apprenticeship Advisor (BFSI SSC) may terminate the contract if either party violates the terms and conditions.
- If the Bank violates contract conditions, compensation may be awarded to the apprentice.
- If the apprentice violates contract conditions, the apprentice may be directed to refund training costs as determined by the Apprenticeship Advisor.
- The Bank may terminate the apprenticeship contract for misconduct after issuing notice stating the reason.
⚖️ Conduct & Discipline
As per Section 17 of the Apprentices Act, 1961, all matters relating to conduct and discipline shall be governed by the Rules and Procedure for Disciplinary Action against Workmen of Central Bank of India.
📢 Other Terms & Conditions
- The candidate should not have undergone apprenticeship training in Central Bank of India or any other organization earlier.
- The candidate should not be pursuing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Candidates with one year or more training/job experience after acquiring educational qualification are not eligible.
- No Ex-Servicemen or Disabled Ex-Servicemen shall be engaged as apprentices.
- No reservation is available for Ex-Servicemen or Disabled Ex-Servicemen.
- Apprentices shall have no right to claim employment in the Bank after completion of apprenticeship.
- The Bank has no obligation to provide regular employment during or after apprenticeship.
- After completion of apprenticeship period, apprentices shall be relieved from their assigned work area.
- No transport facility shall be provided.
- No hostel facility shall be provided.
- No residential accommodation shall be provided.
- Every apprentice shall be treated as a trainee and not as an employee or worker of the Bank.
- Labour laws applicable to employees shall not apply to apprentices.
- Apprentices are not entitled to employee benefits available to regular staff.
- The Bank may cancel apprenticeship engagement at any stage due to misconduct.
- Apprentices are prohibited from joining or forming any union body.
- All disputes arising out of this engagement process shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Mumbai only.
- The application process shall be treated as complete only after successful payment of fee.
- Bank decisions regarding eligibility, selection, cancellation or rejection shall be final and binding.
- Incomplete applications shall be rejected.
- Candidates must satisfy themselves regarding eligibility before applying.
- Only one application should be submitted by a candidate.
- If multiple applications are submitted, only the latest valid application will be considered.
- Fees paid for earlier applications shall stand forfeited.
- Multiple attendance in examination may lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Candidates are advised to retain printouts of submitted applications.
- Selected candidates will be engaged only after satisfactory medical fitness verification.
