🧪 Selection Process
- Selection will be based on Shortlisting and Interview.
- Mere fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not guarantee interview call.
- Shortlisting Committee constituted by SBI will determine shortlisting parameters.
- Interview will carry 100 marks.
- Qualifying marks in interview will be decided by SBI.
- Final merit list will be prepared in descending order based on interview marks only.
- If two or more candidates secure the same cut-off marks, ranking will be determined according to age in descending order.

- Liaising with local Divisions, Regimental Centres, Regiments, Brigade Headquarters, Medical Units and local units of Defence Forces, Central Armed Police Forces and Police Departments for expanding institutional relationship with SBI.
- Increasing the spread of DSP, CAPSP, ICGSP and Police Salary Packages among personnel including officers.
- Dealing with localized issues related to Defence Banking business.
- Conducting mass account opening and loan campaigns in large cantonments.
- Participating in Darbars, Sainik Sammelans and similar events.
- Ensuring coverage of new PBOR recruits, pension accounts and terminal benefits accounts.
- Arranging account opening for Officer Cadets at Academies and Training Institutions.
- Conducting awareness programmes for pensioners regarding investment opportunities.
- Coordinating installation of POS machines in CSD Canteens and URCs.
- Supervising redesign and redesignation of Defence Banking Branches.
- Marketing migration of salary and pension accounts from other banks to SBI.
- Marketing special tie-ups and schemes for DSP account holders.
- Arranging meetings with Commanding Officers and senior Defence officials.
- Acting as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Defence, CAPF and Police establishments.
- Handling complaints and following up till final resolution.
- Identifying locations for branch expansion, ATMs and e-Lobbies.
- Generating business leads and sharing contact details of units and regiments.
- Assisting SBI in placing advertisements and news reports in in-house magazines.
- Coordinating with Defence Banking Advisor and CAPF Advisor for marketing institutional business.

- The Circle Defence Banking Advisor shall not represent SBI in negotiations and shall not exercise administrative, financial or disciplinary powers.
