Candidates must fulfill the educational qualification, age limit, nationality and other eligibility conditions prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2026.
Educational Qualification
- For all posts except Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and Statistical Investigator Grade-II, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

- Bachelor's Degree with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; OR
- Bachelor's Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Selection under SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 will be conducted through multiple stages including Tier-I Examination, Tier-II Examination, Document Verification and Final Merit Preparation. Candidates must qualify each stage as prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission.
Stage 1: Tier-I Examination (Computer Based Examination)
