- Degree in Child Psychology or Psychiatry or Law or Social Work or Sociology or Human Health or Education or Human Development or Special Education for Differently Abled Children.

- Scrutiny of applications by District Level Scrutiny Committee (DLSC).
- Preparation of shortlisted panel in ratio of 1:3.
- Final Viva before State Level Selection Committee (SLSC).
- Police Verification.
- Final selection subject to eligibility and verification.
