    🎓 Eligibility

    • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
    • Candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
    • Valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate shall be accepted as proof of residency.
    • Educational Qualification:
      • Postgraduate degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized University/Institution:
      • M.Sc. in Geophysics
      • M.Sc. in Applied Geophysics

    🧪 Selection Process

    • The selection procedure will be notified later by APSC through corrigendum/addendum, if required.
    • The Commission will decide the mode of selection depending upon the status, cadre, grade and the number of applications received.
    • APSC may conduct Screening Examination, Written Examination, Interview/Viva-Voce or any other test as decided by the Commission.
    • The Commission may conduct examination/test zone-wise depending upon the number of candidates.
    • Candidates may be called for Personal Interview/Viva-Voce at a venue fixed by the Commission.
    • No travelling or other expenses will be paid by the Commission for appearing in the Interview/Viva-Voce.
