Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the following criteria:

🛠 Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct baseline surveys of plantation sites.
Carry out geo-referencing, GPS and RTK GPS-based mapping of plantation areas.
Prepare GIS databases and perform spatial analysis.
Regular field monitoring and supervision of plantation activities.
Conduct survival assessment and growth monitoring.
Collect and compile field data.
Maintain technical records and project documentation.
Prepare progress reports, presentations and utilization-related technical inputs.
Conduct drone surveys and photographic documentation of project sites.
Operate environmental monitoring equipment.
Assist in verification, monitoring and certification activities under the Carbon Sequestration Plantation Project.
Perform any other project-related work assigned by the Project Coordinator/Competent Authority.

⭐ Additional Terms of Reference (ToR)

A. Preference for Local Candidates

Preference shall be given to bonafide residents of Dibrugarh and Tinsukia District.
Candidates claiming local preference must submit valid documentary proof of domicile along with their application.

B. Technical Competency

The candidate shall possess, or demonstrate willingness and ability to acquire, operational proficiency in the following equipment and software required for project implementation:

GPS and RTK GPS instruments.
Drone operation for survey and documentation.
GIS-enabled field data collection.
QGIS or ArcGIS Online.
Geo-tagged field data collection platforms.
Soil testing kits.
Soil moisture meters.
Chlorophyll meters.
Densitometers.
Other environmental monitoring instruments as required.
Candidates having prior experience in operating any of the above equipment/software shall be given due preference during selection.
